Wintersleep are coming on Saturday night to play at Clup One to what is probably going to be a sold out show (if it isn’t already).

We have to wonder if the allure of “Weighty Ghost” will introduce them to a broader audience or will it turn into yet another case of “Sugar Ray Syndrome”.

If you were one of the handful who saw them upstairs at CBTGs during the 2002 Juno week, you’ll appreciate the effort it took to move 1500 feet up the road to play with Pearl Jam a few years later.

It’s going to be pretty brilliant.

Oh yeah, Plants and Animals and Dog Day are going to be supporting them.  That’s the next post.
